About Sachiko Akimoto

AMARA interiors 合同会社 代表の秋元 佐知子です。

当事務所では、住宅・オフィス・美容サロンを中心に、空間デザインから家具の選定、内装工事までをトータルにプロデュースしております。

私のデザインの原点は、高校卒業後に渡ったアメリカにあります。ミズーリ州立大学にて建築デザインの基礎を学び、その後サンフランシスコの Academy of Art University でインテリアデザインを専攻。本場のデザイン哲学と多様な感性に触れました。

帰国後は、リフォーム会社でのコーディネート実務に加え、大塚家具にてインテリアアドバイザー、商品開発、海外ブランド家具のバイヤーに従事。世界中の上質な家具に触れ、作り手の想いや素材の価値を見極める眼を養ってまいりました。

これまでの経験を通じて確信しているのは、「整えられたインテリアは、そこで過ごす時間の価値を変える」ということです。

Sachiko Akimoto

Founder & Principal Interior Designer, AMARA interiors LLC

After graduating from high school, Sachiko moved to the United States to pursue her passion for design. She built her foundation in architectural design at the University of Missouri, Columbia, before refining her expertise and earning a degree in Interior Architecture & Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Upon returning to Japan, she cultivated a diverse and high-level career. Her journey includes roles as a coordinator for renovation firms, an interior advisor at the prestigious IDC Otsuka, and a specialist in product development and international luxury furniture buying. These experiences provided her with a global perspective and a deep understanding of quality and craftsmanship.

Driven by a vision to create spaces that resonate emotionally, Sachiko established herself as an independent interior designer. Specialized in residential homes, corporate offices, and beauty salons, she offers a seamless integration of consulting, design, and furniture procurement.
